Hey

Wow we have had a fab time in the uk.

When we left Hk to come back to uk, we wondered what would happen in this time and how we would be used by God.

Of course it was a time to see our lovely family's and our nephew Connor ( who during the 8 weeks we were back had a growing spurt and over took me. Not impressed lol) And our three beautiful niece's, Elizabeth, Lilly and Niamh. ( Thankfully it will be a goods few years before they all over take me as the eldest isn't 4 yet )

While we were in the uk are first important thing we did was to become Niamh's God parents. What a wonderful day.

We also came back to the uk and attended our church that Dean grew up in from a baby and myself from teenage years.
We have attended over the years, as a one of visit, but to attend for the duration of our visit, was some thing we haven't done since our early 20's...It wasn't just coming home, it was  coming home to Eastleigh Baptist Church. They have been great supporting us in prayer not just in China, but when ever we have needed it, loosing the babies, looking after mum.
And can't wait to go back next year. :)Eastleigh Baptist Church

The first Sunday we went we were asked to do a short interview about China. Always pleased to tell people about the work. But speaking out in a large amount of people is very difficult for me, The nerves are rediculas.
( As my friends as a teenager I had to do a pray in front of a small church with the youth group, and I lost my voice due to these. not God nerves, Then after that no one asked me lol. Nichola my friend will agree with this as she was the one who had to read the pray.  But in 2007 in Spain I was asked to read the bible verse by our friends Steve and Irene-Maria well I told them the story but they still wanted me to carry on, I practised the verse for days word perfect. really word perfect. Then on the day I could not get one work out, just one,,, in disbelief I head butted the lectern and managed to carry on.)

Well I think I did ok , Dean was good.

WE also did an evening on the work in China which was great to, given us another chance to speak out in a large group.
The Lord really spoke to me about my nerves and they were not from him, so I declared that. they disappeared for most of the talk, and my confidence started to build.

Also spent a lot of time catching up with friends who we haven't seen in years. A few days to our selves as we celebrated our wedding anniversary of 17 years. Photo: will this one do? if not ill try and find albums x
I had 2 days in a tent with my sister and her two kids, what fun, what hard work. what memories.

Ever time we tryed to take Lilly out it rained! eventually one day we said blow it, it wasn't raining hard so we would go for a picnic. the sun came out it was great !!! for ten mins ...until!! the rain came down, hard and fast, we sat under a brollies eating our sandwiches. till enough was enough Lilly starting shivering, and when we arrived home as drowned rats the sun came out.
In Lillie's words " It's a wash out "

We also saw Niamh start crawling, amazing. we watched her try and try then the next visit she had started. These times will stay with us.

Then we had a opportunity to go up north to our church in Manchester Sale. Our friends Linda and John kindly put us up. God was good we could also applie for our visa for China there.
AND YES WE GOT THEM ... yea! JUST 2 ENTERIES 6 MONTHS, BUT IT'S A START.

We had a great time being there, see people who have been supporting us in prayer, and just family in the Lord.
We also stood up and told every one a bit about China, Well I can honestly say, I was not nervous, and I felt like I had walked into God what God had for us. I managed to look around as I talked , I felt comfy and for me that's huge, that is God !!

Also during our time we managed to see our dear friends Bethan and James and there new addition to the family, it was so great to see them, They are very special people, who God put in our lives at a very difficult time years ago, when we really knew no one in the area. It was such a blessing to see them. Bethan is a great crafter, cake maker and any thing she puts her hand to. She has a blog http://gingerbumblebee.blogspot.com/ Def well worth having a look at and getting inspirational,

The most Important and hard thing was to see my very old grandparents, who at this point could out lives us all, even tho they are falling to bits. saying good bye to my grandad G was very hard, and my nan P.

There was then the small matter of Spain, we so wanted to go and be a part of magnets, And again thank people for the support they had given Dean and I, That church was called la siesta.
But God spoke and we went, for 4 amazing days.
Magnets kids club was so good, Always great kids. Dean did the story. and we helped with every thig else. The two weeks after we went , we were told that two kids gave there lives to the Lord . :)
Really really hope we can go for longer another time, but we just followed the Lord.

On church on Sunday we were welcomed so much, every one was so lovely, we were interviewed in the service and met with the congregation after. We truly met some inspiring people, and are very honoured to have met them,  a few maybe reading this right now, it really was an honour.

We also handed out on the streets some tracts, and gave away free sunglasses. explaining we just wanted to love them( to all at kings way, love sale came to Spain with a new name) encounter Spain.
Steve and Irene-maria have been doing this reg, and we pray and ask u to pray they see the fruits of this work.

It was but a short time, but a great time again, seeing God move. And speak to us.

The last Sunday we were in the uk Dean preach at eastleigh in the Sunday evening. it was really only he second time doing it. And the Lord gave him what to talk about, On Sunday morning a guess preacher stood up, and well If we listen to God it all makes sense. he spoke on the basis of the same theme dean would talk on, And honestly No one had been told what to talk on a was up to each person, amazing hey !!!

I some time's felt while we were back in the uk listening to God we might have seamed crazy... But we did as we though the Lord said to us, and every thing came to pass, or we walked into what God had planned for us.. as in the word, " for such a time as this "

Praise the Lord. !!!

We really would like to thank every one who has been apart of our journey so far, for all ur support.

Will keep you posted xxx

An English summer

There is nothing quite like a English summer when the sun come's out and stays out. It's amazing that everytime we have travelled (I don't think we've been to many country's, more this last year than at any other time) the sun we look at is the same sun. Yet it gives of such diffrent levels of heat and intensity, depending on where you are, yet remember it's the same sun.

Eileen's (My mother-in-law) garden has an air of the tradtional English garden, again my favourite thing is a real old fashion English garden, I used to have one in our second home as a married couple,(and a few people reading this blog will remember kipling rd.) Eileens garden has a cattery in the back of the garden, but there is a patch for flowers in the front of the cattery, and if you take a moment to look at it..... well its wonderful. The honeysuckle swaying in the breeze gives of it's scent as you walk, I often linger as I walk by, I,m trying to remember the smell for when I go back to China. The roses are beautiful and rambling along the garden there carnations and lillies and other plants I do not know the names of. I wish I knew more plants names than the few I know.
I know antirrhinum's .. when I used to work in the nursing home I used to take one unsettled lady out to the gardens and she would settle and tell me the name's of a few flowers that were there.. and the one that stuck to mind was the antirrhinum.. Or for every one else
THE BUNNY RABBIT :)

Eileen's front garden has more sentimental value, half of it is a rose garden and beautiful it is, the roses are left to grow as they please, they are not stopped and kept as the owners would like but left to grow into who they are. In there, there are two roses, they are mine and Dean's. They are a memorial for the kids. The first one was when we lost our first baby, the second was when we lost Gabriel. We stopped at two, not because the other kids wern't important but because Eileen and Merv's garden was running out of room lol, also those two plants are for all our kids. There is a bench in front of Gabriel's rose and just on that odd occassion I sit there .. It's a beautiful spot whether you know what the roses are there for or not. Its just such a beautiful spot.

Another place I love to go in the English summer is the New Forest. Have you ever been, well it's a must.
There's so much to see and do .. but for me its those places where you stop off and have a little walk and find a nice stream to sit by and have a picnic and maybe even see the horses and donkeys walk by. The lovely forest at the back of you and a piece of grass to sit on.
One thing I have missed is mum talking about bluebell woods and how it was her favourite time of year, how even on her days of feeling so ill we would always go at least once and drive by some       where she could see them..

The other thing I love is walking along the sea front, on a blustery day, the wind in your hair,
the crashing of waves. There is such freedom of walking by the sea as it keeps going forever, I always have a sense of feeling closterfobic when I get back from the sea.

.

But this is my beautiful England xxx

SSSSSsssssssHHHhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Yess SShhhhhh !!!! No NO No sorry I didn't mean every one reading this...This is ment for my lovely husband Dean.

( no this isn't Dean as a baby, just a ramdom pic of shhh)

If you didn't know he is on a sponsored silence. Which he himself is calling a miracle.

The reaso he is doing this is to help relocate and support us as we go into China as full-time missio**naries. We have also been invited to go to Cambodia as a team to pr**each the wo**rd to a village that does not know our Lo**rd.
We also plan to donate 10% of everything raised to go to help a childrens centre in Africa to place sola panels on the roof of the buildings.

So from last Monday Dean went quiet and is staying quiet for 5 days.
Probably everyone reading this will have heard me say this, but here goes again. I will miss Dean not talking to me......no not in a sarcastic way but in a loving way, I love it when Dean talks to me, especially about our future and what Go**d's got planned for us, I love his voice. I guess I just love him full stop !!! Mushy I know , but true :)

We have been very bles**sed with people putting there names down on the sonsor form, and you know if you haven't and want to there's still room on the sheet :)

Things to pray for: we need to get our business visa for China which we will be appling for this month. We need to get these to be able us to stay in China full-time.

Also, that the min**istry in China will get a full-time transaltor.

We will also be doing a small talk on China at Eastleigh Bap**tist Chu**rch, Wells place centre. In the room called Fairoak  from 7.45 pm on the 20th July. Please come along .We would love to see you there...

So can't wait for Friday at midnight when I will hear Dean's voice again..

Another step

So we have been to China yea !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was fab !!! there is such a sense of change of atmosphere as you cross the boarder, from the husle and busle of hk to china. We did cross the boarder at a quiet time, it was quite straight forward, there's a few different crossings and some of them are mad.

During the week we stayed we saw Gods favour over church leaders, we saw doors open, that was amazing.

We stayed in the apartment we shall be living in and we decorated one room. the apartment may not look like much outside, but inside the rooms are large and tall ceilings. When we started decorating we wanted to keep it the same but freshen it up.
We repainted the walls white and put our curtains up from hk. It looked clean and fresh .
It will take some cleaning to get the floors to look good, at some point we will need to be blessed to put a kitchen in, at the moment theres just an electric hob to use which is absolutely fine.. But I love to cook, and want to cook for our new friends over there.
I think I have said it before but it's an amazing feeling when you walk into what God has planned for you .

And this is our means of transport!

I never thought I would scooter again :) we havent got a photo of us both on it, but we had a great time :)

We hopfully will be seeing most of you as we get back to the uk. and will fill in the details.

These are a few shots of villages we drove through

One of the best days of my life!

Well, Hi everyone I'm Dean and this is my first blog.

I can edit it as I go lol.
One of the best days of my life was when we were told we could come and join the girls in China and they felt it was the Lord's will as well.

This was great because it was a kind of confirmation that we were on the right trail, we also knew we knew what sort of thing we were doing for the rest of our lives and the most important thing, more people are going to be jacked up on Jesus Juice in China. (be saved lol).

For a long time we have been keeping our Spiritual eye out as it were for a Church or a Ministry that believed in the Full Gospel and totally relied on Jesus and fresh revelation rather than a program or formula that seemed a good idea. To our relief we found one that was not all fluff but is the real deal. Jesus lead us to them and them to us, wow he's wonderful.

City Church International is an amazing Church, lead by what Jesus told me was a modern day Paul, Rob Rufus along with his wonderful wife Glenda. They are both so kind and full of Jesus, Rob is one of the best teachers and preachers in the world today, the first Sunday when we arrived at city Church it was amazing to hear Rob in the flesh rather than on download, it was a moving moment for me.  When we arrived in January we found out that the Lord had told Rob and Glenda not to travel internationally for 6 monthes starting from January when we arrived, six monthes being the amount of time we felt the Lord had told us to stay in Hong Kong. Not a coincedence.

Moving on to the two girls we will be working with in China, Candice (Cands) and Sonseria (Sons), what a great name, love it. Firstly Cands, well if Rob is a mondern day male Paul then Cands is the female equivalent, she is seriously on fire for Jesus, an awsome leader, an awsome testimony and a real inspiration and a pure Holy Spirit Preacher, trust me we will learn loads from her, love you Cands, then we have Sons, just about the coolest person kathy and I have ever met, she is so cool nothing phases her and you know she can just stand their and say nothing and she still so cool, she is also on fire for Jesus, she is so full of the Holy Spirit it is aw inspiring, she is also higly intelligent to boot,  love you Sons. She calls me Bro and I call her Sis, and not until writing this that I really realize they are the sisters I never had.

Going back to City Church, we have made some amazing friends and they are so generous and lovely people, writing this in England now it makes me realize how much we miss them.

Our first ministry weekend in China was amazing, the Chinese people are so lovely and the Pastors we met are so cheeky and naughty, there so much fun. It was everything we thought it would be and more.

I think thats enough for now, will keep you all updated with some more Jesus Juice news.

It's a miracal !!!!!!

It certainly was. Dean was interviewed for a teaching job and got it .

They then had to apply for a working visa. The system for teaching is you need to have a degree, really in anything but a degree...welll???????!!!!!???

Dean doesn't have a degree, he has Buisness Diplomas and Computer studies Diploma's ..GCSE 's and of course his qualification as a Forklift Instructor. We held on to this as it is teaching, but in a diffrent way...

The sponour said we will apply as we want you to work for us, but we don't think you will get the visa..

We waited just over four weeks when we got the news, the sponour, who doesnt know Jesus said "it's a miracal you got the visa... "

What a relief !!!!!on paper we knew in the worlds eyes we would not get it. But if God wanted us in Asia, we would get it and it would open the door of Faith for other Christain couples to believe they would get there's and they did..

The teaching experience? how can I explain what we thought ??? OH yes ..simple...AMAZING TO FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE WALKED INTO A  SEASON OF WHAT GOD HAD PLANNED....

I always wanted to be a teacher all those school years ago! But was told I was not clever enough..I really taught, the kids really learn't ..and love love loved doing it.

Dean enjoyed it too, but his was more challenging to say the least, as they were challenging kids. but we loved them.

To make life easier on Dean and the kids I helped him in his classes.. and we  Love, love , loved teaching together, as most things in our life it seems we do things best together..!! and thats just God!!!

Later in our time in Hong Kong Dean was asked to do a temp English teaching job p/t on top of our other teaching..

Well one thing with HK and working expect the unexpected :) when he arrived he was filling in as a drama / script wriiter teacher. The fun part was..... the script writting lessons , where Dean would type a demostration script couldn't be used in there next drama class, even though the theme continued, no he had to re-write something new, and he had to do that for his 4-5 classes a day, bless there was not time in the day to do this. he did it for 6 weeks, ( it was suposed to be 2 weeks ) his after school club grew in numbers, and I have to say I was so impressed with his scriptwritting...

My hubby is amazing.. It's lovely we have a working visa now untill next year ..we feel really blessed...

God Bless to you all, will post again soon x xxx
